  • Less cowbell?

I live in a very ghetto area. So most of my neighbors don't have jobs. Since they are poor they don't have ac (I don't either, but just becuse I'm about to move), so they sit outside at night listgening to music. Somehow, they can afford very loud sound systems.

I have gotten used to the never ending party. It happens almost every night, louder on weekends. However, they have crossed a line.

Someone started bringing drums. The drumming was annoying, but thanks to earplugs and a noisy fan I could sleep.

But tonight they added something new, cowbells. All night it's been clang, clang, clang.

I am not seeking advice, I will be out of here in a few weeks. i just wanted to vent.

    Thank you all!

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

OK, it's 3:30 am, I have earplugs in, and it is keeping me awake. The party is being thrown by no one who has ever been cool to me, so the cops have been called. When I called the operator commented that she could hear the party over the phone/

Who the fuck brings cowbells to a party?

I live in BedStuy(watch Do the Right Thing, filmed a few blocks from me), we have gunfire on a nightly basis. As it is a black neighborhood the cops don't care about us much.

But I like it here, as long as you are not in a gang or involved in the drug trade you get left alone. And my rent is cheap. But this is too much. My poor landlord (who is a very cool computer geek) lives on the ground floor with his elderly parents, he's calling the cops too.

Is it just me, or now whenever you hear "Don't Fear the reaper" do you find the cowbell overwhelms everything else?

That single sketch has tarnished the song for me. Walken also visibly reads cue cards through the whole thing.
