This is probably a stupid question, but do you have to be 18 to reserve a room if you will be 18 when you actually stay in it?

At this time, technically, The FAQ says "You will have to be 18 to reserve a room," but they (Hotel Reservation people) don't ask you how old you are when you reserve a room. (If anyone else finds otherwise, please say so.) If they ask you how old you are, it will probably be at check-in. You will probably need a credit card for them to reserve the room, and if you cancel, according to Denny2000 there is a cancellation fee of something like $14.Originally posted by yamamushiThis is probably a stupid question, but do you have to be 18 to reserve a room if you will be 18 when you actually stay in it?
An e-mail has been sent to The Riviera Reservation dept to verify minimum age is required at check-in vs. reservation.
I've moved this to the FAQ thread so additions to the FAQ may be considered:
* "18 or older" is not for reservation, it is for check-in (See e-mail response below for confirmation.)
* $14 cancellation fee notice could be included with the cost

I received a response, and since the answer is for the public, I see no reason to be limited by any "expectation of privacy"
