      SearchPluginHacks: Gives you the option to right click a search engine on the search engine bar and delete it. I would like to see more than just one function tho.

        The Google 403 Error Bypasser: Is now publically available for download. "Due to viruses and script-kiddy tools google now blocks searches it deems questionable. An example of one search would be: "Powered by Phpbb 2.0.6..10" . This google extension will automatically/manually bypass these google 403 errors. To manually bypass google 403 errors right-click and go to the appropriate item.
        Thanks to cp for help testing and to dougdrums for figuring out how to bypass the google 403 errors."

                  i'm glad this topic was bumped up... i had an additional plugin question for the people here. unlike what appears to be the majority of people here, i do not run firefox but instead the mozilla suite. mozilla mail is where my problem lies. for the longest time the built in junk mail control tools (which run on a really elegant bayesian filter, if i'm correct) did a terrific job of blocking spam.

                  lately, however, i'd say about 15% ~ 20% is getting through to my inbox and it's starting to really annoy me. are there any mozilla mail plugins that can do better with spam filtering than the default junk controls?
                  "I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

                    You could start a search from the main page
                    But I found absolutly nothing through mozilla search, on to google.
                    I havnt tested it, I dont run Mozilla Suite, but from the looks of it http://www.spamato.net/ is worth looking into.

                      I haven't got a single junk/spam mail during the 4 years I have been using computers... Guess I'm lucky.

                      Here's an excellent tutorial on how to write your own firefox extensions:

                      It helped me very, very much.

                                Try downloading it again.
                                If it doesn't work:
                                Rename from .xpi to .zip,
                                unpack it all and have a look at the files.
                                It should look almost like this:

                                yourpackage.xpi
                                ->install.rdf
                                -> (optional) install.js
                                -> (optional) [components/content]
                                ----> overlay-*.js
                                ----> overlay-*.xul
                                -> [chrome]
                                ----> content.jar (You can also rename this to .zip and open it in winzip or similar)
                                ----> [chrome]
                                -------> Anything goes here
                                -------> [content]
                                ----------> overlay-*.xul
                                ----------> overlay-*.js
                                ----------> [skin]
                                -------------> Various graphics

                                First have a look at the install.rdf (and - if included - the install.js)
                                is the paths ok?
                                If not, fix 'em.

                                Also be sure to have a look at the code syntax.
                                I'm not so well-bewandered in xul, but I'm sure you can find some info somewhere...

                                Last option: drop it. :)

                                -GBHis

                                PS: Additions to the list:
                                InspectThis - very handy tool for viewing specific elements in the DOM inspector (who types javascript injections in hand, when there is a gui for doing it?)

                                Nuke It (or something similar) - remove ads - manually and quick

                                TestGen4Web - Feature for recording "macros". They can be saved and replayed/shared with others later.

                                Wizz RSS 2.1.1 - RSS reader.

                                Fireftp - Ftp integrated in firefox.

                                KReveal - my own - not public toolbar for editing strange things on webpages (like column width and javascript variables.

                                That's it.
