Firefox: Windows into tabs?

Hi there guys,

I've been using firefox since the origional beta and have been a great fan of it, it was the first broswer that i had ever used that offered me tabs, fantastic!

One thing i am looking for is an extension that collates all of my open firefox windows into one window and places the open URLs into tabs.

Tabbed browsing is a great benefit to me but still somesites force to be opened in New Windows, i know i can middle click to open in a new tab but it would be great if there was an available extension that collated all my open windows into one window full of tabs.

Anyone know of anything that could do something like this for firefox?

I can't speak for firefox, but using mozilla is like beta testing with every release.. you never quite know when the memory will just decide to go on without you. Tab restoration scripts are handy because you never can tell when the browser will up and decide without you that it is definately time to close.

Anyhow, it has had tabbed browsing support since, forever and a day .. but in addition to this there was also a tabbed browsing extension downloadable from mozdev that allowed you to do much more in the way of controlling your tabbed browsing; one such thing was to force all new windows as new tabs.

Probably the closest you're going to get to that is Viamatic Foxpose.

There is an option in the firefox tab options menu, it is a check box that says "Force new window links into new tab" or something along these lines, currently I cant check on the exact wording, but you want to check this box.

I have it checked to a new tab so windows don't go flying everywhere.

You can add this to your 'user.js' file to open all windows besides pop-ups (the ones you click on) into tabs.
