The team I am working with will have an entry. We currently have a working gun and targeting software and are in the process of refining things for this specific contest. I wish everyone the best of luck in this thing- hope y'all build some cool shit and I look forward to seeing what people make.
After a few succesful test runs, The team I am working with has halted any further development and testing on the robot and is busy preparing for other con fun and packing for vegas. We look forward to the competition, good luck to everyone and we look forward to a fun contest this year!
Setup time limit will be strict. You should have your robot booted and ready to go on the sidelines so that when your two minute setup starts you don't need to wait for an OS to boot, etc.
The #1 reason is so that we don't bore the crowd, the only penalty will be that your set up time eats into your match time, which based on my test runs you'll need as much of as you can get :)
If you need to calibrate anything then make sure you do it Friday any time or Saturday morning. (competition is at 4pm)
