      The Sahara is within short walking distance from the Riviera.
      I stayed there last year and I am doing so again this year.
      Here is the rates I received:
      Thursday = $45.00
      Friday and Saturday = $110

          I just made reservations at the Las Vegas Hilton (just behind the Riv on Paradise).

          Check out their "Summer August Sizzle" Friday and Saturday at $79/night.
          Great weekend price for a place that is much nicer place than the Riv., yet close enough to walk to the CON.
