I went to the Micro$oft XP Launch today here in DC. After getting a chance to play around with it for a while all I have to say is that information security folks should thank Micro$oft for ensuring their gainful employment for the next few years.

I don't know which part was my favorite...the return of sysconfig (with all users having rights to, and any user having rights to enable/disable services including telnet) or the remote desktop management. I'm actually running XP at this moment and I must say that it looks a hell of a lot like Linux... I can see why too, Linux is looking quite threatening to MiCRO$OFT.
