Previous years, we have had people asking questions about the contest, the rules, and then later complained about the submissions. It seems every other year, someone complains that the winner violated the rules in some fashion.

Some of these subforums were experiments to see if they would be used. Lack of use would suggest not bringing them back next year.

Kind of like genetic algorithms, but with forums-- what works, survives, and suggests what thing might do better, while what doesn't dies, and tends to not encourage like-items, and during this time ideas are mixed and reapplied to help search for better pattern matches.

Next week, we'll test out, "the scavenger hunt for the wireless, robot in a mystery box coolong contest" forum. (These contests worked an did well, so if we combine the discussions, that MUST be a winner! ;-)
