Re: Whoever came up with "Almost Dead Guy"
I joke all the time, I try to stop but people tell me just be me, so this is me. Sometimes my jokes don't come out right but folks know I mean no harm. I hope this is okay!
I only got the news about Ryan a few hours ago. I have lost too many friends to count this year. Some from age, most from war, and some like this - cancer. The last person who needs to leave the planet gets removed. It just gives me a heavy heart, almost like a physical weight in my arms, but inside. When it comes to moments like this I am like the clown who can only remain silent, while standing there dressed up like a blooming idiot.
Goodbye Ryan. I see for your 29th birthday you received the present of just one more day with your family and friends. That's the best gift anyone could possibly receive. I am so glad you had then and they had you.
I salute you, Ryan. Goodbye friend.

Re: Whoever came up with "Almost Dead Guy"
Amber and his many San Diego friends are organizing an SD tribute. I am reposting here the tentative schedule of events so that people may begin to plan for this. If any questions regarding this come up please feel free to contact Siviak@gmail.com or aggona@gmail.com
Also, as Ryan was a very spiritual person with many facets to his soul, he expressed an interest in alternative ways to the other side. As part of a specific last request he related to a dear friend, there will be a viking-style tribute. If you are interested in participating in this portion of his Tribute weekend, please contact Siviak, Eris, or DBCooper at their gmail.com addresses. This event will be included in the weekend already in the planning stages as seen below.

Re: Whoever came up with "Almost Dead Guy"
For those of you who may not yet be checking Ryan's blog, here is a post from his mother.
Shirley Vander Wall (Ryan's mom) said...
It is heartwarming to hear the many tributes to Ryan from people who loved him as we do. 29 years just doesn't seem like enough... The service in Ft. Collins at Faith Evangelical Free Church will be at 11:00 am, with time to visit afterward. We hope that the roads and airports will allow many of you to come. We'd love to meet more of Ryan's friends. Thanks again for your prayers and love.

Re: Whoever came up with "Almost Dead Guy"
I wont be there either. Just a week before Ryan passed away, we lost another member of the local community, also to cancer. I have been helping his widow sell off some of his posessions. So, I will be working a table at the gun show next weekend trying to earn her some income.
I return whatever i wish . Its called FREEDOWM OF RANDOMNESS IN A HECK . CLUSTERED DEFEATED CORn FORUM . Welcome to me
