Re: Contests Shout Out - DC15 2007
Coffee Wars, same requirements as always. Power, table, trash can with liner, we bring everything else. Coffee for goons, as per usual. All,
It's that time of year when I have to start getting everything in order for the contests we'll be offering for DC15. For all the contest organizers from years past, shoot me an email and let me know that you're planning on being there and what your specific ideas are at this point. They don't need to be totally detailed, but I need to do some space planning.Leave a comment:

Re: Contests Shout Out - DC15 2007
As a spokesmodel for the infamous Mr Thorn, I would like to note that the Wireless Contest will be back with a vengeance at DC15.
Everyone thought it was sad chance that Renderman was denied victory all these years.. when in fact, it was the equivalent of beating a caged rhinoceros with rice noodles covered in orange sauce... forming the most insane, pissed off wireless contest organizer from Canada in the history of Defcon. Did I mention he's Canadian too!? Phear.
Details will follow.
Frequency boundaries will be tested.
Fun will be had.

Re: Contests Shout Out - DC15 2007
This and the other thread by russ have been moved here with 4-month redirect "Moved" (in red) to cover both common locations for event discussions and allow any discussions posted in either location to be in the same shared thread.
NOTE:
Just because we have your event or contest listed on the forums does not mean it is registered as a "real" defcon event.
If things work like last year, you will be expected to submit information to Russ *and* to BlackBeetle when they request it (like Russ is requesting now) to ensure your contest/event is in things like the Program, on the main web site/pages for DC15, and is properly considered during any kind of resource allocation such as floor or room space or other resources.Leave a comment:
