DEFCON 15 vs 20 year Reunion

Well shit - guess my dumbass classmates decided to have our 20 year reunion the same weekend as DEFCON 15.

Now I have a choice to make - break my run on consecutive years at DEFCON & skip seeing how fat & bald & lame they have all become; or miss out on one of the highlights of the year.

goddamn, as if there is any choice here? if you really want to make an apperance, i'd say you do the following...

get a print house or banner printing company to generate a life-size cardboard stand-up of yourself in a nice suit. then, each hand should be mocked up somehow to hold a tray.

one tray will have a note saying "use this disposable camera to document the lame dancing and overpriced drinks here at the reunion. these pictures next to the camera are a small sampling of what goes on at defcon, where i am instead." (the included sample content should, in my opinion, be comprised primarily of stuff like this.)

the other tray should have a small photo album/scrapbook related to your job (nice office, happy co-workers, perhaps a summary of stock option package) and a note saying "my job kicks ass and yours does not. use this disposable camera to photograph how bald and sad all you fuckers have become"

not the type of plan i'd put together myself, mostly because i don't give a damn how anyone from my high school is doing... but hey, i would suspect that if you did this you would never have to worry in the future about making the choice between DefCon and the Reunion again if they conflict.

I've been deployed for all of my previous reunions. Then I was deployed during the last DEFCON.

I already purchased my plane tickets and made my hotel reservations at the Riviera. Let's hope they don't cancel it again this year!

I'm almost in the same situtation, my cousin was to have her wedding in Vegas but switched it to her home town near San Francisco the same weekend as defcon. To keep my relatives happy, I'm thinking of spending the week in Vegas then flying out late Friday night or early Saturday morning then returning shortly after the wedding, though I know the relatives would want me to spend more time up there.

I have not made a single class reunion since I graduated and I really can't believe that you are even considering not going to DefCon. IMHO there is no question here really!

I'd rather goto Defcon instead on my reunion to be with the people I wish were around when I was in high school. And for reference, I will be missing my 10 year reunion for DC this year

Why are you asking? I never really liked 80% of the people I went to high school (and the other 20% of them know how to find me if they wanted to), I'd much rather see how much my friends at Defcon have porked out, become balder, greyed and spawned rug rats of their own.

Classmates.com would fill in alot of the blanks for you, but I guess I too would be curious about the marital status some of the lasses/milf's in attendance.

I'm not up for paying the classmates.com monthly fees to find out so little info - like you, I would rather inquire about marital status in person... or even, how many MILFs are in open relationships.. Because, you know rings have holes.
