    Welcome to April Fool's Day, 2007.

    Last year, /. (slashdot) provided us with an OMGPonies! Look and feel. This year, they have amusing stories but the OMG Poinies interface is not quite the same.

            I've come across surprisingly few this year. Last year many of the torrent sites I visit had pages to the effect of "we've been given a cease & desist, oh noes!!11"

              Oh man, scared the crap out of me. I was trying to think back to what posts of mine were considered spam. I thought I was ending up like this guy! Good one!

                Yea I fell for it too since I have a site and thought since I don't post here often, maybe it was felt I was trying to spam this forum.

                I was POSITIVE I would not get fooled because I locked myself in the house and refused to read any news stories that would be fake. DANG! I got it anyway.

                    For those of you that have bookmarked a full URL path including files into the forums, and didn't actually visit http://forum.defcon.org/ or https://forum.defcon.org/ (nothing after that last "/") between 11pm on March 31 and 1am March 2, you may have missed the Defcon forum April Fools' item. Here was the April Fool's item from the forums.

                    I'll leave that sample (af.html) up for a week and then move it to an archive.
