Looking for reliable external monitoring service

We already monitor systems internally, however the alert system fully relies on SMTP paging, so in the event of Internet outage we won't get any pages. At this time I want to add external monitoring of a few DMZ computers, such as SMTP server. Anyone using such a service? I am looking for recommendation. Thanks in advance.
