I am interested in the meetings here in San Antonio, but I don't see much activity in this area? Where's everyone at? And why is San Antonio a dead forum? Years ago San Antonio had dozens of computer meetings, now down to almost nothing...Anyone for comments?..........black_hacker

Re: Where's everyone at?
Theres still many meetings, the 2600 group is regrouping, if you had visited the website you'd see the meetings are being moved to a new location. The Defcon group has group projects and meetings that get done outside of a public meeting. A public meeting is in the works again but unless you know people from the Convention, and your inside the loop you don't hear about the weekly things people are doing.
2600 currently moving
Defcon possibly being moved to same location as 2600.
Northwest Vista college has several groups, including a lan party thing going.
San Antonio Linux Users Group has meetings monthly.
Trinity University has the IEEE Computer Society.
Theres the XCSSA group for older hardware.
We have the Alamo PC group as well, which puts out a newsletter.
Theres the ISSA group.
Is that enough? or should I continue.. theres more.
