hey i got a win modem but i am also got linux and stuff and i wanna get online with it but i got win modem is it possable.

in short, no.
WinModems are not "real" modems. real modems use hardware to function as where winmodems interact with windows and see emulated hardware. windows specific api's etc etc.
if anyone could give a more detailed explanation that would be good.

Some Winmodems do have a driver for linux.
Example: Lucent based winmodems.
