If anyone would like to help fund aCTF, there's now a donations button on the menu on our website (http://www.dc949.org). Donations will help pay for prizes, cat5e ends, and other things needed to run the contest (however not things like food for the people running the contest, paying people for their time, et cetera; mainly just hardware which we don't have lying around and can't get donated).
For example, we were going to buy a casino machine (most likely a slot machine), and then modify it slightly so it'll be on the network. The machines are a couple hundred bucks, and we just couldn't foot that kind of a bill this year. There are a few other things that we still have planned, but are in limbo just because Vyrus and I are tapped right now.
I'm glad to say that we're doing OK right now; we've already received a couple donations of generous amounts. Thanks to both of you; track me down at con and I'll personally hook you up with some hardware (a server, switch, hard drives, or something).
