    Nerdapalooza

    So I was poking around the Internets and found this, http://nerdapalooza.blogspot.com/200...of-roster.html, a Nerdcore concert in ... Eureka, CA? Way up in BFE CA if your not familiar with the area. Anyways, it almost looks tempting to go to. Anyone else hear of this festival?

    Apparently you didn't hear about the WTF that was BoCon 2006 up in Boise, ID. I really enjoyed it, but nerdcore in an area where we walked across downtown to grab lunch and cowboys gathered on streetcorners? I certainly wouldn't have expected it.

    I might go simply because it's been a while since I saw Beefy. I'm wondering if they selected Eureka simply because of the SciFi tie-in, though...

      Ill be there. My significant other just moved to Arcata so, I have been planning to see this.

      The roster looks really nice. Ive seen decepticon-19 and MC Lars in the past, and have heard of several of the others. this is looking to be a pretty decent event.
      Of course its fully cooked... we had it set on "linen".

        Apparently the guy organizing the event just happens to go to school up there. Not really sure of the Sci-Fi tie in...*ducks obvious bring*

          hey there... this is hex, the guy organizing the event. yeah, eureka was originally chosen due to its proximity to me, but the sci-fi show tie-in was an added bonus.

          if anyone has any questions, i'd love to make myself available. ^_^
