HTTPS is currently down on the forums, you can find more here. BTW, to find out any public notices about the forums, check out http://forum.defcon.org/showthread.php?t=7187, usually the last pages helps out.

Actually, I am finding more and more things broken every time I attempt to log in. I have not been able to use HTTPS for several days, and am also finding that just getting to some things on the defcon.org site is chancy. The link to the "Main Site" (main.html) seems to be broken.

Today seems to be worse than ever. The little icon that should take you to the first new post in a thread doesn't work, and I'm no longer getting email notifications of new posts in threads I'm subscribed to.

To assist in trouble shooting, I have multiple computers, all with real IP addresses, and two networks to test from. I've verified some of the issues by using a computer that has never before accessed the defcon.org websites in any way, and also cleared all states, including cookies, certificates, and ssl, in multiple versions of browsers. It just seems broken.

I doubt sincerely if it's the firewall, since I was seeing these issues *before* the message about the firewall showed up.

One hopes that this message gets posted correctly; I'm crossing my fingers for it.

Well, now that I understand when the firewall first came into play, I can see that it most certainly was (and is) the firewall. I'm hoping the issues get fixed before I head off for toorcon. I don't mind using no SSL at home, but I'd rather not, when on the road.

SSL has been fixed for the time being.

Please use this thread for any bug posts/etc.
