The DC509 group is located in southeastern Washington State, encompassing the Tricities (http://www.tri-citylinks.com/) and surrounding areas. We have a mailing list, and are in the process of deciding about meetings. All computer and network security topics are welcome. Information on how to subscribe to the list will be posted in a couple of days.

I realized this morning that I ought to provide a brief update. Our meetings are on the third Saturday of the month, and our second meeting is coming up on February 16th (2008). Our meetings alternate between technical (of interest to the members) and community outreach. This meeting will be one of the latter, and is entitled:

Is Your Wireless Network Secure?"

It will be held in the Kennewick Branch of the Mid-Columbia Library, at 6:00 PM. Our next technical meeting will be on March 15th.
