TSA is underneath the Department of Homeland Security.
The Department of Homeland Security is probably under our beds with recording equipment.

I was wondering who was giving those homeless people coffee.
I guess the words they say to themselves might sound like a string of code-words, but then again, it might just be a string of crazy talk.

Now, the tinfoil hat crowd should start calling crazy homeless people, "one of 'them'," or "feds."

As for full body screening, they've tried to down-play the nudity issue by coloring the resulting images in neutral tones/colors, but I give it 10 years before followers of Ted Turner's Team of Colorization of Black and White Films decides to upgrade it.

            Nah, that's the Secret Service.

Haven't you gotten it straight yet? It was all explained, once:

            Dick Gordon: National Security Agency.

Martin Bishop: Ah. You're the guys I hear breathing on the other end of my phone.

            Dick Gordon:
No, that's the FBI. We're not chartered for domestic surveillance.

Martin Bishop: Oh, I see. You just overthrow governments. Set up friendly dictators.

            Dick Gordon:
No, that's the CIA. We protect our government's communications, we try to break the other fella's codes. We're the good guys, Marty.

Martin Bishop: Gee, I can't tell you what a relief that is... Dick.

You know, I was thinking on the way to work today, that I'm surprised there hasn't been more outcry from civil rights fronts about issues surrounding using this imaging on minors.

Minors are ok, especially if they're on the "no-fly" list.

The likelihood that you could stand that close to the checkpoint with a "recording device" would surely cause you more problems. I'm sure its grounds for harassment and or detainment. You don't have any constitutional rights in the airport anymore. That said, I'd love to record the entire process of jumping in or around their hoops without compromising my principles, just once.

I am flying out of Phoenix airport in a week (Saturday) and I will make sure that I don't go through the imaging machine. They may pat me down, they may metal detect me, hell, they may even use that puff machine they have, I can deal with air being blown on me. I can't deal with killing hundreds of thousands of my unused sperm all in the name of security.

Besides, these machines have just been installed, how much of an effect does it have on the human body? It is after all a radio wave, I know not to get close to transmit towers for radio and TV stations for that exact reason, I don't want to get cooked.

                              According to the TSA:
For comparison, the energy projected by the system is 10,000 times less than a cell phone transmission.
Now I certainly understand if you don't believe the source.

I haven't yet found any meaningful scientific research on the potential effects of MMW radar.
