I thought I'd get a thread started here...since the public network at DefCon is, at times, a contest unto itself!
When time allows, I update the DCNewtorking site -- so check that occasionally throughout the year.
WiFi for Everyone. We have a metric ass-load of bandwidth this year - internally & externally.
Russ has done is usual awesome job at collecting networking requirements from vendors, contest organizers, etc. We'll have that all up & going on-time for everyone.
I have officially (late?) opened Table of Doom registration. For those who remember from last year, ToD is an opportunity to grab a span-port and capture DefCon Network traffic. As the "most hostile network on the planet" it's a unique data capture opportunity. However, we only have so much space (and network ports), so I'm capping it at 8 slots this year (did 9 last year and ran a little low on physical space). A few prompt people had emailed me already about it; I've got 4 slots left. Drop me a PM here, or email me at noc [-at-] defconnetworking.org
We're going to try to make the Capri 101/102 hangout area a "free for all" - so if you want to play "hack your wifi neighbour" ...you can (or can you?)
Otherwise, have any questions, post it up!
