  • Newbiish question..

I really like to shoot, but its a pain to bring guns, and I dont have that much cash. However, hanging with a bunch of folks who share the desire to shoot a pea between the eyes sounds like a blast.

Do I understand that we need to sign up for one of the packages to attend? Or can one just attend and maybe work out some borrowing/trade of ammo and gun goodness?

technically, the range gets $200 per Class-III shooter and our group is large enough that we can also make use of a private range at no additional charge. However, that would be unfair to make those folks "carry" everyone else.

So i hit on the notion of asking Class-III shooters to only kick in $180 and make up the missing $20 from the "basic" attendees. At present, we have almost twice as many full-auto shooters as basic shooters, so the balance is maintained by asking for $35 from those people. Some of the "basic" folk have backed out or are on the verge of doing so, so that might creep up to $40.

Still... that's the basic rundown... if you're just showing up to shoot either your own guns or friends' guns, it's $35 or $40 you kick towards the general pot.
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."
