Given that it won't overlap with contest throwing/participation either, I think workshops on Thursday is a good idea because some of the smaller cons have pre-con workshop days that run pretty smoothly ... the thing keeping me out of those is the cost. Can we work this out somehow to not cost a couple hundred dollars?
Do people actually have the time to show up early? Assuming I can get time away from a job for all of Thursday and the ensuing con, I'll volunteer myself to go teach something. If it actually happens, in order to figure out what workshops should be run, is taking a poll here on the fora a realistic reflection of what would happen in Vegas?
