Ps Is there a Shmoocon shoot if not are people up for it,
Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

I'd be up for the shoot, but I'd have to look up the laws regarding the transportation of a firearm into the PRDC.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

Have body will travel, but time and money will tell. In addition to running a seperate security company, I'm an software testor, editor, writer, and North Amerian media rep for big online URL. I have more than one grey hat so to speak. I'd love to take a break and go. You gonna make the trek?

I've made it the past couple of years, my employer pays me to go, gives me a company car and picks up food and hotel tabs. Plus I'm only about 2.5 to 3 hours from DC depending upon traffic. Hopefully the other conference I'm supposed to be presenting at isn't going to conflict with this one. I don't know when that conference is yet.

Yeah, that's what I was looking at. I don't know the area at all but that seemed the closest with the most facilitates that is public.

I can't think it would be a problem. People do have to move and we would be visitors. Then again I won't go driving around the capitol with a S.A.W in my front seat either.

Actually the Marine Corps' range at Quantico would be the best bet, They have sniper ranges and mass destruction ranges for raptors and 240s. The FBI also uses those ranges. Just a suggestion.

Aren't they private LE only ranges?

The Range is in Virginia and not in DC. So you can get to it without ever having to cross into DC. I'd be more worried about Maryland. From the stories theprez98 tells, MD is even more restrictive than DC.

DC is worse, but MD is not too far behind.
