There is a different picture on the front page (as of today, anyways).

"Evalg" doesn't translate, but is "e-voting."

Yup, figured that out. But that's the kind of thing that I meant about getting some of it by context.

i think it comes across well... including some of the more delightful ways in which Norwegian language idioms are shown. Hehe... security holes get "clogged" on Patch Tuesday once they are identified. And, apparently the opposite of a script kiddie is a "blood hardened" hacker. Heh, i may make that my new user title here on the forums.

I love that this fellow asked me to grab my laptop as we went out for the photos (which were taken outside on a balcony in almost knee-deep snow, by the way). So in addition to rocking the Mr. Wizard's World shirt, i also got to give a nod to DEFCON, ToorCon, ShmooCon (sadly, not really shown), the Hacker Pimps, the EFF, the Hacker Foundation (also not easily seen), ShackaCon, Jackalope, Amnesty, and Flogging Molly... and i am even flipping off Boston with the Aqua Teen Mooninintes.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Actually this is only half the story, since I was also interviewed by Norwegian Public Radio for both an Adult news program and a kids tech program.

I have also heard back and there will be a meeting next week w/ the Norwegian Ministry and Suhail, don't know yet whether they'll want us. I'll let you know.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

Actually, I was nervous. I'd already turned down one interview, and truthfully
I'd conned everyone into doing this one so I wouldn't have to do it by myself, (it was a much, much better interview because of everyone's participation and particular expertise)

During the pictures, I kept running everything we'd said through my head to make sure it couldn't be taken out of context.

heh, we had come downstairs practically in our pajamas and wound up in snow up to our knees taking the photo outside.

It was cold, and none of us grabbed our coats prior to the picture.

My feet were wet for hours after that...
