Should the contest run 24 hours a day

We are debating if the contest should run 24 hours a day or if we should only allow contestants to submit answers and retrieve clues from 10am-6pm.
The advantage to a 24 hour site is that players can do the puzzles and geocaching after hours when lectures are over.
The downside to a 24 hour site is that the contest area is not open, so support for problems would be limited.

After hours, there is more drinking to follow the drinking done during con hours... who wants to interrupt that with full on updates? While completely sloshed, however, is there anything more appealing than bonuses, and picking one's proverbial noodle in regards to clues from the previous day?

Well the idea is that by not allowing teams to submit answers durring the night they could solve the last puzzle they received, and have the answer ready for the next morning.

Teams would then be free to party or whatever without concern that another team was spending the whole night sprinting ahead.

nothing official should happen outside hours, but you could have extras like a geocached party, "I'm at $LAT, $LONG, first one to find me gets a beer", or whatever.

My contest and the oCTF guys are usually the only ones left in the contest area after hours...and yes, teams still work on my contest late into the night...

Just be prepared for the long haul if you are going to run 24x7
