I think we're up to a grand total of three people this year, so we should do three times better, right? I never was any good at math...
Thanks for the insight guys, I guess that just means that I have to drop the person im coming with for a team mate, after reading the FAQ again, that makes him kind of useless... does anyone have an extra opening on a team?

If you only knew what you were asking ;)

    Read the FAQ-

Part of the challenge of this contest is that no details are given out prior to the contest starting. It literally is a 'mystery'- The FAQ lists skills that have proven to provide success in the past. Please note that it is not all encompassing -

The best way to find out about the contest is to ask someone who has competed, but if they see you as competition they might not be so forth coming with information- This embodies the hacker spirit, you literally have to hack your way into the game...

    Good luck...

Maybe two people could do it, I know Voltage Spike went solo last year with plenty of passing volunteer help. I'd like to try this year, but I don't intend to do the whole ronin thing.

The challenge pretty much epitomizes hacking in every aspect, drives people insane, and is always one of the most interesting things happening outside of drunken hallway conversations on what everyone has been working on in the last year.

I would say that you could find a few details from search engines or forum archives to get an idea of what has been in the mix from previous events.

I've been looking forward to this year's challenge... well since the end of last year's challenge.

With all the trash talking from years past, this thread is pretty slow by comparison.

I guess nothing will top Joe's trash talking that first year....hehehe the KingPin has a silver tongue when he needs it...

How much did the clues won at the EFF Summit help you in the Challenge? Wasn't it Grifter's team who pretty much got to make use of them or am I wrong at who won stuff in the auction?

Out of curiosity, which team ended up solving "Scary Girl" and winning the ARTiGO? I gave the solution to the team I was helping (ish?) but the team leader has mysteriously vanished from the face of the earth. O_o

Also.. do you sleep? And if not.. are you a robot? And if so.. that's pretty hot.
