Seriously though, it is hard to find a day in the year where some group, somewhere hasn't claimed it as their own day for whatever reason. Heck, in the US, there are claim for national WHATEVER month, every month of the year. That pretty much locks up every day of every month of every year with something in the US.Last edited by TheCotMan; May 25, 2009, 09:48.

Hmmmm towels, flags, perhaps it's a DIVINE SIGN!!!!!! If only he had left a sandal behind(is there more than one way to spell sandal, sandle?)It worked for L. Ron Hubbard.
xorJust because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

Besides, Memorial Day shouldn't be today, it should be the 31 May, dammit! The same with Veterans Day. It should be 11 November. Neither of them are there to make a nice long weekend for the populace, they are their to remember those who fought for the rest of us.Thorn

O another note, I didn't mean to detract from Memorial day (It's not a holiday here in Canada), just the fact that it was Towel Day and remember Douglas Adams as well.Never drink anything larger than your head!
