Wolfenstein, now there's a game I could actually win without cheating! I hooked up the sound to my stereo, had the cops out one night because a neighbor thought I was shooting dogs. :)
Seems some of those games won't run nowadays.
Remember the gave HACKER? It was one 5.25" floppy, with no directions, and ran at 4.77MHz. You booted from the disk and got the LOGON: prompt and had to guess the password. It took me about 2 weeks to get the password but I never did finish. Then I got a 12MHz PC and the game never worked even with TURBO turned off.
You know you're getting old when you can remember the TURBO button on PCs!

Re: Old Skool
Those were the days.... I remember trading those around between friends while bored at school... then going home and playing them on our kickass 386(SX!) tandy.. god, I miss deskmateOriginally posted by Grifter
I have an old 386 that I play games like Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Loom, and Wolfenstein 3D on. Damn the old games were kool.if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.Comment
