Also, what about auto-tuning? Reverb? We're not all honey-tongued zombies, you know...

LOL, yes I remarked that about the catch phrase itself. The tentative time will be around 8PM, although don't quote me on that (yes I see you going for the reply button...)

Everything sounds better Auto-Tune, lol. Things like auto-tune and reverb are still TBD pending a DJ selection. Personally I detest tons of reverb. Adding reverb to vocals sounds great when you're recording them in a dead silent, echo free studio, but in a public venue it makes good singers sound bad and bad singers sound worse, imo.

Well, I meant real auto-tuning, but if the DJ has some Kanye West selections...

Oh, and not that you are soliciting requests, but how come the karaoke selections never include Weird Al Yankovic? I don't know much about the CD+G format, but how hard would it be to modify the lyrics? Perhaps a few talented people would care to write their own spoofs ahead of time, possibly to be sung by other people?

Awesome, wasn't aware of that but hopefully we can get everything set up and tested out before the event starts.
