This is normally where I would post the link to "Blackwaves: How To Make An Avatar Badge", but it appears IVU has taken the page down
. However from the below post AlxRogan & HighWiz have saved the day with this link: http://web.archive.org/web/200710210...adge-howto.htm
Since I can't post the link for those of you who have never attending a "DC Forums Meet", I'll at least give you guys the general information/steps it takes to make your own Avatar badge.
1. Take the picture you use here on the forums and paste it into your favorite art program.
2. Re-size your picture so it is almost the same size as a 3x5 inch note card, but leave room to type in your handle.
3. Type your handle either on the top/bottom/side of your picture so others can read it.
4. Review what you have done. If you like it print it out, if not start over again till you like it.
5. Cut down to size (about 3x5 inch note card)
6. Laminate
7. Hole punch somewhere in the middle so you can hang it from your lanyard.
8. Wear with pride.
Side Note thanks to Voltage Spike:
I look forward to seeing everyone at the forums meet.

Oh, and you may wish to make your badge double-sided (e.g., by coping the HTML/design into a second column and folding the printing).
