Re: Shmoocon, ticket, sales, November 1, 12:00pm, Eastern Time
I'll be at the labs. That was my favorite part last year. This time I'm going to be early though. I ran into traffic (I live in Central VA so I drove in) and arrived fifteen minutes late last year, and things were already well into the swing of things. This year? I'm leaving like an hour early. Nothing makes you feel as dumb as walking into a group already working ><
Well. I can think of a few other things, but not many.

Why not show up when the many of the rest of us do, Thursday night. We normally have a good ol' time sitting in the lounge drinkin' an BS'in.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

The Labs start Thursday morning.
Yeah, I realized that after I posted it. It's been a long day, the sun was in my eyes, it's a full moon.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The final round of tickets came and went in record time. Who's still out in the cold? Who's lucky enough to have an extra or two?
(If you're in the second category... please feel free to email or PM me, since i have heard from one or two friends who would love to attend but were not around computers this morning when the final round went for sale.)
Much appreciated... and i'll see lots of you all there in February.
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want." - Trent Reznor
