    Heh, we're just planning on participating in an event that doesn't exist yet. No bribery needed -- yet. The idea was to get organized and learn a little before being eaten alive in competition. I don't think any of us intended on running the darn thing.

      If you all decide to host some sort of peer-based education to prepare for games like oCTF or CTF, and want to have it be a Defcon event, the process is still the same.

      If it is just informal,then there is no need to arrange for space.

        It sounds like we've got some options. If anyone else is interested in participating in some type of peer learning event, or joining a new team for applied book knowledge, make sure to post here.

          ahhh shit.

          Sorry guys, it's been a hectic bit of time for me.
          I had no idea this thread was going on.

          I can't say anything yet, but an announcement will be made tonight or tomorrow morning regarding open Capture the Flag for this years DefCon.
