Ah, then it is probably not publicly visible to people without facebook accounts. Try logging out of facebook,, removing facebook cookies and click the link.

I spoke with kallahar through another space, and he confirmed that it is only visible to people logged-in to use facebook.

Problem diagnosed: the url is valid.

Yeah, looks like it's a facebook problem. if you're logged in, it works, if you're not, the link says "invalid event". Even sharing the event from facebook to an email address gives the same url.

Most facebook links seem to function in that manner... I deleted my facebook, though, and am not particularly sparked by the thought of creating a new one...
