test post
"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

when pressing Back in Firefox i return to the virgin new post page, thank god i saved the post text in buffer before i tried the second time.
Sorry man. I have no ETA on this.
I have lost several posts and PM now when this happens to me. Method to post anyway is to copy your text before submitting, submit, and if it fails, clock back and paste and submit again.
I have crafted a way to always repeat it, but we are waiting for a firewall admin to check and fix this. (This is not something I control.)
Sorry about this.

Re: test post
gah. after never seeing this error in my life, i'm getting it all the time now. having a hell of a problem posting lots of new info about the DEFCON Shoot and the call for staff."I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. When I remember, before I submit long replies, I "select all" of the form with the post content, "copy" then submit. If it fails with error, click back, and click the box where your post was, and choose paste, and submit again. It seems to always go through the second time.
I have a method for DT to duplicate this all of the time, which is needed to help diagnose this, but he is not in a place that makes it easy to find and fix, and other issues were more pressing. (For example, pics.defcon.org is now back online serving images again, but I'd bet people will have similar "access control denied" problems when trying to upload pictures to it.
Chris and I spent some time on this a few days ago to try to narrow the cause, but we are not firewall admins for Defcon (yay!), and the content does not make it beyond the firewall to the server for me to inspect content arriving to the server.
