Here is a list of suggested tools to have. This list isn't all encompassing, and remember, keep your tools updated.

Wireshark + Tshark
Tcpdump
Truecrypt (we will also include a binary on the disk)
Network Miner

7zip (Will include on disk)
Cain & Abel

Almost certainly a file permissions issue on the file http://forensicscontest.com/tools/index.php (or tools dir) because index.html and index.htm produce 404 errors.

However, it was working the last time google stopped by and cached this page. Good to use until [the cache expires or] they fix the permissions -- unless that is part of the contest. :-D
