  • RFID Hacking

Last year we made proxmark-LCD devices and there was a lot of interest in making that in to a kit.
but we decided not to... its just way too complicated for the HHV (you would spend all weekend just making this one thing)

So we have another RFID tool. Its based on the NXP PN532 and is compatible with libNFC (http://rfidiot.org/)

It allows you to read/write/emulate and do man in the middle attacks against most 13.56Mhz RFIDs and you should be able to crank it out in less than an hour.

We dont have many kits to build <50, as all this was sort of last minute. But we are trying to bring as much fun stuff to make as we can.

The original idea was to have an RF tool, an IR tool and something to explore mag stripes.

Two of out three isnt bad.

Guys, if you want to do this as a 'class' drop me a PM.

I'm putting together the schedule for the HHV.

Of course if you just want to go off, that's fine too...

Usually in the HHV we just float around from person to person helping out people at their own pace, i kinda like the open aspect of it where people are just doing their thing and those that want help can get it.

CharlieX, I agree, the open concept is what I love the most about the HHV, I learn so much every year just talking to people. Count me in for a kit.

Would you trade a kit for a Logitech Revue? eh?

          Maybe?

We will have both classes and floaters ;)

I taught basic servos 101 last year and people loved it.

We will have both running concurrently.
