It was fun, and believe me the burgers are better than the nachos! It was just the two of us, but we did scope out some chicks wearing black, wondering if they were there for us. Hey aren't all women there for us? Had a good talk, the bartenders are getting to know us, maybe this can be a regular event.

I did not have time to go to the Spectrum, maybe one day I will, but I like getting home before 10pm, especially if I want to sleep indoors. :p

Follow up IVU@Spectrum

Yeah the spectrum was fun as usual, more people came, and Freaky passed out some free dc9 tshirts.. Thanks Freaky!..

We met up at the food court outside for a bit, ran into foureleven first then everyone else started showing up. We went inside the food court and got some drinks and some people got pizza, we chatted about this and that. Freaky showed everyone a kewl little hardware keylogger... very slick, looks like a keyboard adapter, hopefully he can get more they looked really fun... Soon we will have little presentations and handouts, we discussed deathrace and who was going. Then we went outside for a while and hung out there, and then we all started getting hungry, we went back to our sushi place and I had unadon (yum yum it was good)... one of the funniest things thought was Robert the waiter guy. The last meet we went there we had a female waitress, but this meet he was our waiter.. so at first were like shit, this guy has an attitude because last time we asked him for our bill, and he said 'go find your waitress'.. we were like what?.. ... and then this time, I got carded for my sappora and he totally thought it was fake.. but after I showed him my school id that had the same name, I got the drink :) he came back with the large bottle, and then walked away, so then on the next time I said.. dude, cane i have a glass.. I wasn't about to start drinking from the bottle ... haha.. though maybe next time I will... then I guess he asked missturtle a question about something and Freaky thought he was talking to him... and then Robert said... Are you a miss?... lol!... we were like dammmnnnn no he didn't!!... haha.. then missturtle said that we didn't here what he said.. but he said that if she would like a spoon for her tuna bowl... hahah... so Freaky was being called miss for the rest of the night by us... haha... so next time he came we told him that we remembered him being an ass the last time we were here... and he said what?.. and we replayed the scene.. and he said.. oh that was because i had a triple shift, and missed a bbq with a pal because all his coworkers were flaking that night... then he joined us and we chatted about things, he was pretty cool... he talked about photography and how he interns and does camera tricks, and how playboy enchances images... great stuff... then he talked about dance dance revolution, and started showing us the way to dance.. it was GREAT.. showing us how to do the technique, then he starting doing some pop and lock... man this guy was great!!!... then he started to bring up fake id's and how he used to be a bouncer and could detect them (one reason he was eyeballing my id.)... so we chatted about that.. brought up computers.. and he was like... hey are you guys techies... ?.... lol we just looked at each other and laughed... Freaky gave him a dc9 tshirt... then we talked about IVC unix teachers... and how much he blows... cough...534|\| /X\35R1...cough.... I took him about 10 years ago, and missturtle had him a little more recent... he is still a bitch... fucking elite insructor... he always tell the girl that they are incapable of learning unix.. what the fuck?... and dude if you aren't him, you are going to get picked on, and made fun of during class.. fucker.... he usually uses his son's name as the root password for his boxes... did i say that?... ok enough venting about this prick... .... umm... ok.. .yeah the night ended great.. people starting leaving and we all met up and parted our ways... pretty fun night... got home around 1am.. can't wait for the con.

That wasnt his password this time around :) The reason I asked what the dood said when he was talking to MT is couz he was talking with a slurr and she didn't hear either. Bartender told us all that the boards and shit for IVU and NVU would be up next wed. also and the robert guy told us all about the porn industry makes girls look better than they are from a film/camera schooling point of view. Nulltone showed up this time around - Good to see you again man, and he will be @ the con too! Lei showed up this time too :)

I think I very briefly finished the story but it was all quick so all the interesting info was left out :D hehehe..funnnn..Yay ya I can't wait for defcon and the board to be up. The IVU meeting was great and should be better after all the presentations and such start happening.
And yeah, I didn't hear what robert said at all I thought he was asking others if they wanted spoons cause thats all I heard was 'spoon' and I remember they ordered ice cream so I figured thats what he was asking so I kind of ignored on my own. Selective hearing. LOL.

Dang Blackwave you had me almost hyperventilating just reading that long ass post, how about ending a sentence once in a while? :) Well you sound like you had a blast, what is the meeting schedule over the con, will there be one for the folks who could not make it? And what about after the con?

Sounds like I need to make it to the spectrum just once.

haha, actually in retrospect i have a lot of periods, just all together like this... ;)
I always have fun at the spectrum, it has been a new experience every time.. 3 times so far.. not to sure about scheduled plans though, I think things are up in the air, but I could be !right. :) I am sure it will be known by some form of communications when everyone is there and settled. :)

Well DEFCON moves our meeting for August so once we get back we will have another meeting there, asuming people wake up once they get home from their 3/4 day non-sleep days of Defcon.
