    Re: Bring Back workshops?

Trust me I would love to be able to sell a HHV kit at cost at DEFCON instead of forking out the cash out of pocket. I don't really have the resources to do that in the vendor area or the pull to get it into the Swag area.

BUT maybe that is the answer. I have 10 soldering stations of my own and my own helper to teach soldering. If someone would paved the way or show me the route I must take to get some arduino kits or whatever kits into the swag booth Id jump on that.

Unfortunately there won't be any workshops this year, for many of the reasons you guys all talked about.

There will be, however, expanded hacking village space. So more room for the villages to do more things and involve more people or gear.

We will also add the Tamper Evident Village for people to play at. It will be next to HHV, for obvious reasons!

Is there a place to teach wireless hacking for example - backtrak/other tools, and similar non-hardware but relevant skills? Is there space available to do that on a semi-scheduled basis?

You mean, like the "wireless village"?

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.

We have plans to do some Q&A Sessions in the Wireless Village where you come ask your questions and we'll do our best to answer them. We also have had tutorial's every year where we talk though various aspects.

One thing that will be included this year will be another talk on Wireless Penetration Testing and recommendations on hardware and software to use.

If you can let me know specifically what you are interested in learning, I will see if we can squeeze in an hour or two session.
