no joke, sure my parental units ph33r my piercings and tats, hair, thought processes, but I could only imagine the next gen of kids out there... "hey pops, the latest trend is to remove the ears and have them reversed so the left ear is where the right ear used to be and vice versa" ... sigh.

body modification is already huge. Just look around you and you'll notice some interesting things. (ok, I live in Santa Cruz, so I see more than my share of it). and as I understand it, digit (finger) remove at one of the joints is huge right now.

d00d, I have seen a lot of body mod sites that give you tutorials on how to remove fingers, toes, if you are brave check out http://www.modcon.org/ you have been warned ... anyway I am into getting things added, pierced, etc... but when things are no longer there, and it doesn't grow back? Then no thanks... One of the coolest ones I remember seeing were on aj a few years back, with his wolverine type inserts... but I am not into pain the way he is into pain. I don't think anyone is. ;)

if you get your tongue shortened it will grow back! its the only human organ (other than shin, which i dont consider an organ) that will reginerate itself. like a lizard tail....

Actually there are those who think ll body parts would regenerate but once you start wiht bandages and such you kill that process. Of course you'd bleed to death first before your hand grew back.

As for body mod, do you know what Botox is? It's a poison that paralyzes. Yea, like that's cool.
