We're getting short on time, and since I'm graphically challenged, I was thinking of putting the specs of a new .22 round. Use the standard technical drawing of a .22LR, and calling it a wildcat cartridge: the Defcon .22 SSH.

80gr bullet @2600fps; 443 lbs muzzle energy (yeah, I know the math doesn't work). Introduced by Defcon Arms Corp/Deviant Weapons Division.

I can build that in MS Paint, and short of reprinting the shirt from DC20 and relabeling it "I don't always wait until the last minute to print shirts, but when I do I reprint the previous year's", I'll need help.

I think 42 grains is best, at 1337fps.

I agree. I'm old school, so 2600 is recognizable, but you can't miss 1337fps.

Either one would work good imo. If you want to mock something up in paint, send it to me. I've got a friend that does graphic/logo design for shirts and stuff. I can have her polish it up to look great, and send it back your way for printing.

no need for mentioning me on the shirt, though. :-) long as a 2XL shows up for me, then i'm super satisfied.

I know 2600 but the magazine by the same name is published by a guy who is not always well liked. I guess we do not want to see it as an endorsement of the magazine or vice versa.

When will you take size orders? Getting close....

Aloha. My wicked smart graphics friend has kicked ass again. How do you all like this? This is ready for the printer, and she suggests silk screen for best effects. So I'll send the final proof to Deviant and Modafinil for printing when approved.

A few ideas:
Reverse the color of and put the Defcon Smiley on the porojectile itself.
The non "22" numbers are confusing. Can we replace them with Linux commands maybe? Or Greek lettering?
The "Defcon 22 shoot" can be centered above the bullet for formatting, and a tad larger.

Just ideas.

So... These are based on Modafinil's selected drawings, and I don't see the specs as confusing. Anyone used to reading a spec sheet, diagram, etc.. will know that these are true to sizes. Also, the defcon logo, IS part of the specs, it's the bottom of the round fyi.

P.S. - Please be gentile with my hangover today, I drank too much wine while supervising my saucy friend last night.

I like the smiley on the projectile. I was also thinking that the dimetions are fine, but that the specs should be at the bottom:
112grain bullet @1337 feet per second
443 foot pounds of energy

at the top:
Defcon .22 SSH Wildcat by Defcon Arms Corp

Then the details of the shoot at the bottom
Defcon 22 Shoot, Las Vegas, NV
August whatever (it's always had the Thursday date, and we've had shooting on Wednesday for a while, maybe both days) 2014

one more thing: call it the Defcon 22 shoot, not the Defcon.22 shoot, since we don't limit ourselves to one caliber.
