Reply to tivo & room resevationIf you can swap the power you can also do some minor hardware hacking and image the existing tivo drive and replace it with a much larger one. There are some great tivo hacking resources on-line. Using free tools it is possible then to d/l over the network shows you have recorded to your desktop, etc....February 17, 2009, 12:44 -
So the head of tech operations at my work decided to unload his tivo + busted power source on the first scavenger to reply - see: me.
Now here come the questions:
Harvest it for parts? Just replace the power source? Make something very UNtivo like out of it?
