Great. By the way I habe an additional token for BsidesLV (still running today) if anyone wants to trade that for a ride. Talks start at 10am, at the Tuscany, I'm planning to attend the first half of the day and then leave at around 15h to get to Defcon shoot. After DefCon shoot there is the BsidesLV pool party from 22pm-4am.

Hey Lots of people on here needing rides, and that includes me. I can ony do the Thursday morning shoot and after I have got my defcon badge so early start for us all :) If enough are doing the Thursday shoot maybe we can Uber a cab and split the fair, unless there are spaces in enough cars. Am happy to split fair or share gas....Am staying at caesars..is there a meeting place before departing to shoot? Cheers !

Hi@all: So what about we meet up in the Self-Parking of Caesars and then see how many people fit into the cars. Then we could still order some uber. I try to be today by 15:30 (aka 3:30pm). So we five stay here as all options are now expensive. Uber costs now something more than 12x$. Guess Uebers algorithm hits us as multiple people had the same destination. Even not clear if we could drive with 5 people. Now we would not make it in time anyway :(
A few of us will propably stay in Vegas to stand in the quere for the badges in the morning.

1) Trying with Uber again? With me we would be four... maybe the prices will be reasonable again
2) Is there a central meeting point for tomorrow again? It would be great if we could meet before with the other people. The meeting point today was a little bit confusing, so a group of 9 people did not met the group of cars ;)

Okay, here is the thing i found out: Uber seems to calculate the price on the attractivity of the destination. If i look for the price to Old Benn Rd, then the prices are ~120$. However if i look up a route to "Indian Springs, NV",exactly the same location, then the price is around 60$. If we split it for 4 people, then it will be 15$ per person.
