We hope to build a community of hackers, researchers, enthusiasts who are interested in hacking and securing Satellites.
We couldn't find such a community so lets build one! As people post their initial links to white papers, books, and appvalley blogs we will capture them here and create a starting point
Articles people find on the topic can be posted in a dedicated library: https://forum.defcon.org/node/232076
Videos that are on YouTube you can embed in your post, and pictures you can be included in your posts as well. Here is an article explaining how.

Did someone say write ups for the SSC_HackASat CTF? We have TEN write ups so far on the Hack A SAT Resource Library for learning about satellites and SAT hacking. Check them out:https://github.com/deptofdefense/hac...-2020-writeups

Hi, thanks for your question satguy99, the virtual Hack-A-Sat workspaces that we are creating are designed for those who are at the beginning of their journey in learning about and understanding how satellites work. If you love solving problems and can learn basic commands and code, you will do well with the workspaces that we have created. In terms of math, you will not need to do any advanced math to interact with our workspaces. We do plan to introduce some of the math for calculating orbits and other things, but there will be detailed lessons and we will be right there to help you with it. Those calculations are meant to be a walkthrough of the concepts as opposed to expecting you them to solve them on your own.
Our friends SSC_HackASat may also have some additional insight to share regarding the Hack-A-Sat CTF.

Quick question, I am not really that great at math, will I still be able to learn sat hacking. I do web exploitation and development as a side note.

An evolving Library of SAT Hacking Resources is now available via this GH library: https://github.com/deptofdefense/hack-a-sat-library/
Also check out this new page on the Hack A Sat site https://www.hackasat.com/keep-learning. Includes the GH site and more.

Thank you for the additions! I'll add them to the top post.
