I had heart surgery last week and am unable to get around easily, walk/stand for long periods of time so the only way I can attend is by being pushed around in a wheelchair. Do I need to buy a ticket for the person assisting me in the wheelchair?

So long as they are with you on a continuous basis as a personal assistant, they do not need to purchase a ticket. They will be given a paper "HUMAN" badge and allowed to accompany you with your paid ticket. This is a new policy HDA has had put into place. The registration people are aware of this, but if you have any issues have any red shirt Goon or registration person give a radio call to me ( Delchi ) and I will assist. Also , you may go to the head of any DEFCON line with a Goon escort instead of waiting. If there is anything else I can do to assist you please let me know.
