Driving to DEFCON: How far is too far? (in Miles)

    I'd say driving from Australia would be too far... then again, can't say I've tried it
    if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

          Airfare in the US is so cheap, why the hell would you want to drive more than 2 days? I guess road trips are always good for bonding and whatnot. :D

            ummm.... for those that have yet to pick up on it... this thread is from LAST YEAR! Highwizard drove to and from PA successfully (I'm sure he'd be glad to share details). I drove solo from Maine in approximately 3 1/2 days, 45 comfortable, accumulated driving hours including 30-60 minute lunch stops each day. It's not that hard, but driving ANYWHERE for a length of time post-defcon is a bitch.
