I know it's still early, but I'm seeing some pretty cheap fares for flights to DC12. I wanted to see if the concept of an east coast caravan was dead before I made any purchases or reservations.

    Interest? Thoughts?

There may be an east coast caravan, but the DC to DC cannonball run isn't going to happen. Way too many potential liability issues.

          Just to prolong the thread...

I've driven the East Texas to Northern VA thing three times in the last year. The only time I drive from Northern VA to Texas, I'm gonna stay. :)

I'll see y'all when I get off the plane.

At one time my contemplations were skewed towards a caravan to DC, but to many hours in a car would exacerbate my ADHD. It is the flight again this year, though that is only minimally improved. I have issues with others breathing the same air.

Hey if you get a prize, then if I make it I should get one too! That is if I can get a ride. I don't drive, the $80 is hard enough to come up with, bother a plane ticket, oh forgot to ask what county are you from?

                NJ to Vegas

I am strongly considering making the drive down from New Jersey for the sightseeing and the experience. I have 1 person willing to go. To make it happen I need 2 more people willing to chip in for a rental car/gas and put in some time behind the wheel. Anybody want to take me up on that? NYC/tri state area is ok.

Everyone needs to drive cross country once. It is incredibly educational. Trust me.

Yea, Yea... Driving there is a great time. Driving back is a different story..... But I hope you're not trying to save money.
