Had a good time chatting with all of you I know that the dc702 meetings will be a true success with everyone involved. It got loud in there mostly because of the 'worker' :P But other than that it was comfortable :) Look forward to hearing your presentation on rights, almost thought i was gonna get pulled over on my trip back! :)

Anyone in to web stuff should email var to get a site going for them with more information on it.

Allright you little monkeys, Vegas meeting tommorrow.

Allright you bastards. Stop complaining and get in gear. dc702 is having a meetup tommorrow (Saturday). The information is available online, on our website (aka, forums), at www.dc702.org. If you want to go, go. If you want to stay on these forums and bitch about it all, fine by me (us).

During the meeting, we'll be discussing some of the skill sets that everyone has. We'd like to see what everyone dabbles in and what we can do to create a project that all of us can work on. Something we can create.

As for trying to get in touch with the "other" las vegas based members on these forums, thats great and all, but they've tried to get a group together and failed. We may fail too. We're not dismissing that fact. But we'd like people to help out instead of bitch out. ;) Try that out...you might like it.

Update: For those that could not make it.

Finnaly went to meeting (missed last one, PlayBoy party at Palms overrided) And we got some interesting idea's poping up durning the meeting. All in all, if things go well, we will have a very nice DC group here in Sin City.

This next month is focusing on avangelism and getting word out to those in the know, so CruptData and Siv (as the chopper would say) "Get down here now!".

All are welcome, and I think we are having a meeting this coming weekend, but a date has not been officially announced yet. We also are working on getting the site up, but have the forums online at dc702.org.

EDIT: Re read your question, and it looks like you are talking about Defcon the conference, not our group. Even so, the same answer applies. As for a group in valencia, here is a listing of all groups: dc-groups-index.html

If there isn't one close to you, you might be able to get a ride from someone attending that lives near you, that's what I do.

Or maybe just start your own...
