My machine is a Pentium M 1.7 GHz with a Gig or RAM though, running Slack 9.1 of course.

      My lappy is a 1.4 P4 w/ 256 of DDR and a 32meg Radeon.

But my mac is just a 400mhz G3 iMac DV with 128meg of SDRAM.

I dunno what the deal is. That URL made it into my bookmarks though. muahahaha.

Back to the subject of image leechers, the most amusing thing I have seen was an eBay listing a while back for a dual processor Pentium mobo. The guy selling it just used somebody else's pictures. Owner of said images then made several changes. Pictures of a cumputer being crushed under a truck and another of it in flames with the caption, "Here is the very motherboard you are bidding on undergoing stress testing". I think I saw it on Bidboy.com. Funny as hell.

jesse's pic would REALLY come in handy there.. (of course, I'm sure some folks would bid on it anyway.. )

i work in the adult industry, and people hot link shit all the time, and we see people not inplementing .htaccess or other means. simple thing to do and can save you 1000$ of dollars espcially when you are pumping TB's of bandwidth a month. i coded some php to stop bandwidth leechers. and you just simply just do a simple include call. if you dont want to use .htaccess.

Are you working with a company that provides the live feeds? Back 2 years ago I worked for the largest company on the internet that did the live feeds and they were the ones that brought it mainstream. We used to get people linking to the live chats all the time but they couldn't see the feeds, I never could understand why they would do that but after talking with some of the customers that did it, I figured out how they were doing it and the web programmers started changing the codes where they weren't able to do it.

Now I'm just consulting for the adult industry and the companies that want to setup the live feeds and studio's. Can always use more work and clients.
