you know I think it has something to do with volume... I had a big Calibri lighter.. and they told me I had to check it due to the fatc that I might have filled it with "something else"...
If I had a nickle for every time someone offered me ten cents to keep my two cents to myself... I would be a rich man.

      Just stuff

What would really be disturbing is if the luggage checkers never did laundry. they just go to work in the same stank underwear, rifle through someones bag until they find some underwear and swap. new drawers everyday, zero laundry cost.hehe.

        Good thing:
        * You renewed an extremely old topic
        * That makes absolutely no sense and makes me feel like I just got dumber from reading it.

Well, TSA requires that if you do decide to lock your baggage, you should use one of the TSA approved locks which can be found on their website.

**Translation: TSA has a bunch of keys that will fit certain locks. If you want your lock to remain intact, use one of the approved locks so it isn't damaged.
          Go catch a falling star.

There is a standard, but in many places training is inadequate or procedure is not enforced. I still see TSA doing jackass things like piggybacking through a secured door because they are too lazy to swipe a badge.
